Accreditations

The memberships and accreditations that we operate with, are vital to running our business. We operate a registered BSI Integrated Management System (IMS) for quality, health & safety and the environment. Our IMS system is certified to PAS 99:2012, as well as ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018 and 50001:2011.

COMBINED ACCREDITATION

ISO 9001 accreditation demonstrates that we have an exacting quality management systems in place. ISO 14001 accreditation is an internationally accepted standard that demonstrates that we have an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) in place. ISO 45001 is an occupational health and safety management system accredited by UKAS that demonstrates that we have robust and internationally recognised OH&S management systems in place. ISO 50001 is an international standard developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) which provides organisations with the requirements for energy management systems. ISO estimates that the standard could influence up to 60% of the world’s energy use.

British Safety Council

Health & Safety underpins all of our business activities and is an area which we take seriously. As a member of the British Safety Council (BSC), we have access to essential Health & Safety information and key legislation updates and compliance. Our membership also promotes our commitment to good health, safety and environmental management – we are proud to be affiliated with one of the world’s leading HSE organisations.
 

BSI

BSI is the business standards company, working with business experts, government bodies, trade associations and consumer groups to capture best practice and structure the knowledge all organisations need to succeed.
 

CE Marking

BCS Group has successfully implemented a Factory Production Control system to BSEN 1090-1. Our accreditation covers the design and manufacture of structural steel work, up to and including Execution Class 4. The harmonised European Standard, EN1090 came into force for raw material in July 2013 and became mandatory for all manufactured components on July 1st 2014.
 

CITB (Cskills Awards Improvement Centre)

Cskills Awards is the leading awarding organisation in the construction sector. Cskills build construction qualifications specifically for the construction industry, ensuring the quality and integrity of the industry recognised qualifications.
 

City & Guilds

City & Guilds are a worldwide leading vocational education training organisation. Qualifications are highly recognised by employers and help individuals expand their talents, knowledge and abilities to further their career. Certificate qualifications have been carefully designed to meet the current and emerging skills needed for the evolving construction and utility industry. Accredited training courses have been developed to ensure they provide relevant, modern and industry standardised learning.
 

Constructionline - Gold Member

Constructionline is the UK’s register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related suppliers.
 

Environment Agency

The Environment Agency – certification of registration under The Waste (England and Wales) Regulation 2011.
 

FORS - Silver Accreditation

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a free, voluntary scheme operated by Transport for London. It encourages sustainable best practice for road freight operators who deliver in, and service, London or who intend to do so.
 

Investors in People

Investors in People (IiP) is a nationally recognised framework that helps organisations to improve their performance and realise their objectives, through the effective management and development of their people.
 

RISQS (RSSB)

The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) is designed to be the single entry point for suppliers to the rail industry. Buyers of products and services throughout the GB rail industry use RISQS as its supplier qualification service. RISQS is industry-owned and embraces rail’s qualification arrangements previously known as Link-up.

RoSPA are a registered charity and have been at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world for almost 100 years.
 

Safehire Certificate (HAE)

SafeHire is operated by the Hire Association Europe, the internationally recognised leading body for the development of the hire and rental industry. HAE’s SafeHire Certification has been designed to raise standards across the hire sector by helping businesses improve Health & Safety procedures and customer service levels.
